In 2009 Repco Rally Australia engaged Dr Stephen S. Phillips to conduct an ecological  impact assessment along the   proposed world rally route in the Northern Rivers.  
As a critical response to this study (Biolink (2009) Ecological  assessment), two independent ecologists Dr Stephen Ambrose and Mark S. Graham have provided their own reviews.

Northern rivers resident Joanna Gardner has also compiled a report on the biologically rich and sensitive wildlife corridor that is Byrrill Creek now under threat as part of the proposed rally route. View in
