Proposed Rezoning in Kyogle Shire

Kyogle Council is proposing to rezone all the land in Kyogle Shire to RU1 (Primary Production) and is asking for community input by Friday, 16 July. See Council’s recent media release below, with contact information at the end.

Summary of the proposed Kyogle LEP changes July 2021.

Herewith an account of what I think is intended by the proposed changes
to Kyogle’s LEP. I think it is a lost cause, but people need to understand that this small change can be altered if the next Council elected 4th September is stronger on environmental protection. We only have a week for public comments, closing date is Friday 16th July 2021.
