When : 1100 Friday 6th November 2020

Why: NSW govt proposes to amend the LLS Act to exclude Councils from
having control over broadscale land clearing and logging in sensitive E
zones, even in mapped core koala habitat. This removal of protection
will likely doom this iconic species to extinction in a few short
years…and many other species along with it. The NSW Upper house is due
to vote on this Amendment Bill on 10th November so no time to lose
lobbying MLCs.
